The name, Sorin, is inspired by the dual meanings that it has from both Japanese and Romanian languages. Sorin means the ‘sun’ in Romanian, while in Japanese, it refers to the finial or spire at the very top of a Japanese pagoda. Mirroring the blend of Eastern and Western cultures, at Sorin, we combine the deep human connection, with the advanced AI technology, to honour every story that comes our way.
